When you want to dehydrate fruits, vegetables and herbs, any oven will do the job. But at what cost? Conventional ovens take ages to dry your goods, and rack up your electricity bill in the process.

Fast & Healthy Technology found in selected Grundig ovens, dehydrates using a combination of both microwave and conventional cooking. Drying modes are setup to use power optimally, while the hot air temperature in the oven allows moisture inside the food to vaporise quickly. Thanks to this combined cooking method, dehydration happens 82% faster, compared to conventional hot air drying. So if you’re making apple chips, for example, it will be ready in only 1 hour 15 minutes, instead of 4 hours.
