Based on our shared values for quality, aesthetics, and exclusivity, we have been collaborating with Massimo Bottura on his project for fighting food waste, the non-profit organisation Food for Soul.

Now we are taking our partnership one step further by developing an exclusive collection with him. As a top chef with the world’s number one restaurant, Osteria Francescana, Massimo Bottura personifies this collection based on these values, represented by the colours in the design. It is a unique collection ensuring premium quality – an obsession we share.

Both distinction and humility are needed in the mixture for achievingexcellence. Bottura is a true testament to that with his passion forfood and obsession for quality. We chose to represent that in thiscollection through a colour powerful enough to highlight every othercolour whilst still being humble – matte black. Through the MassimoBottura Collection we hope to inspire others to always reach forculinary greatness.

An appetite for a great story

Cooking is more than just baking, frying, and feeding; it is aboutrespecting, blessing, and giving value to the food. Our aim with thiscollection is to remind the world not to take it for granted and totreat it with care. “Cooking is an act of love” is a quote by MassimoBottura that represents our common philosophy and that highlightsthis belief.

In Bottura’s cookbook Bread is Gold he lets this belief come to lifethrough his recipes, which are the ones cooked in his refettorios,community kitchens serving guests in need. Drawing from thisvalue and the cookbook, we have chosen to highlight his quotewith the globally recognized colour for value – gold. Together withblack, it symbolises how vision meets quality to create the MassimoBottura Collection that makes your home the best place to be.
