Our innovative strides include transforming old PET bottles into cutting-edge washing machines, introducing the world's first washing machine with an in-built microfiber filter, enhancing refrigerator eco-footprints with bioplastics, repurposing plastic packaging into dishwasher components, and converting old fishing nets from our oceans into our products. The numerous awards and distinctions in the area of sustainability that we have received with our parent company over the last few years prove that we are on the right track with our relentless pursuit of green innovation.

Plastic waste in our oceans isn't just an eyesore on beaches; it's a pervasive issue that every traveler has sadly witnessed. Polluted shores are now a common backdrop in vacation snapshots. Beyond the visible, there's an unseen menace: microfibers. These tiny plastic fragments have infiltrated our food chain, ending up on our dining tables. The pressing threat of plastic waste demands our immediate attention, and we're tackling it head-on with innovative solutions.

The Best for your Laundry. And the Environment.

We've repurposed approximately 58 million PET bottles into the drum casings of over 400,000 washing machines and washer-dryers. Rather than contaminating rivers and waterways, these tons of recycled plastic now improve your daily life, contributing to the shine and cleanliness of your laundry.

Environmentally Friendly Packaging.

All new Grundig products in the small appliances, TV, and audio categories now come exclusively with sustainable packaging. Our outer packaging is 100% recyclable, and we craft our operating instructions from recycled paper, ensuring they're ready for re-recycling.

Cooling without Electricity

We aim to bring the benefits of food refrigeration to regions where consistent electrical supply isn't a guarantee. Through our global initiative, we power refrigerators using solar panels, ensuring self-sufficiency. This not only enhances the CO2 balance but also reduces production costs.

Our Grundig website has operated carbon-neutral since July 1st, 2021. What does this entail? We assess the CO2 emissions of our website, factoring in page views and average hosting consumption. By endorsing diverse climate initiatives, like wind and water projects, we achieve corresponding carbon offsetting.
