During Christmas dinners, we often find ourselves preparing greater number of meals than anticipated. However, it may not all end. At this point, it can be a nice gift for you. By adding a few spices and fruits, you can create a unique and delicious sauce. Ingredients
- 100 g mango
- 50 g leftover Christmas cranberry sauce
- 10 g honey
- 10 g fresh red chilies
- 10 g fresh ginger
- 5 g fresh garlic
- 5 ml white wine vinegar
- 5 g fennel seeds
- 5 g fenugreek
- 5 g garam masala
- 5 g salt
- 5 g cinnamon
- 2 sourdough bread slices
Preparation
First, peel, seed and dice the mango.
Then peel the fresh ginger and garlic, place them in the chopper and run until fine.
Chop fresh chili peppers and reserve them for later use.
Combine fennel seeds, fenugreek seeds and garam masala in a bowl.
Heat the honey and white wine vinegar in a saucepan until it reaches 75°C and remove from heat.
Add the chopped fresh ginger and garlic and the Christmas cranberry sauce to the saucepan.
Then add the chili peppers and chopped mango pieces to the pot with the mixture.
Cook over medium heat for about 10 minutes and add the whole spice mix.
After adding the spices, cook for another 5 minutes and remove from heat.
Serve with bread slices.
