Fruit Cream Puffs

Ingredients

  • 60 g all-purpose flour
  • 50 ml water
  • 50 ml milk
  • 40 g unsalted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • A pinch of salt

 

For the cream;

  • 150 ml heavy cream
  • 15 g powdered sugar
  • 10 g fruit powder (recipe in the kitchen tips)
  • 5 g vanilla extract

 

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 200°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • In a saucepan, combine water, milk, butter, and salt. Bring to a simmer, then remove from heat and add flour. Stir until a smooth ball forms.

  • Cook the dough on low heat for 1-2 minutes, stirring continuously. Remove from heat and let it cool.

  • Beat eggs in a separate bowl, then gradually add them to the dough, mix with electric mixer well.

  • Transfer the dough to a piping bag with a round tip and pipe small mounds onto the baking sheet.

  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, then let the puffs cool on a wire rack.

  • In a mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, powdered sugar, fruit powder, and vanilla extract.

  • Beat the cream mixture until thickened, then transfer it to a piping bag with a small round tip.

  • Fill each cooled puff with cream by piping it into the side incision.
