Bluberry Lemonade

If life gives you blueberry, freshen up with it.


If you try to think of a fresh fruit, it would be lemon. Of course, although we are talking about fresh drink, we should never forget lemonade. There is also lemon in this recipe, but we have a surprise. The hero ingredient in this lemonade recipe isn't lemons; it is blueberry!

 

When the refreshing power of lemon is combined with the tartness of blueberry, a perfect feast of taste will emerge. Don't forget to use cold water while preparing the recipe because cold water is one of the biggest tricks of this lemonade's refreshing power.

Ingredients

  • 500 ml cold water
  • 2 lemons (about 200 g)
  • 100 g fresh blueberries
  • 30 g honey
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves

 

Preparation

  • Wash the lemons and blueberries thoroughly. Cut off the ends of the lemons and slice them into quarters. Remove the seeds from the lemon quarters.

  • Place the lemon quarters, blueberries and honey in a blender.

  • Blend on high speed until the lemons and blueberries are well combined and the mixture becomes smooth.

  • Add the cold water to the blender and blend again for a few seconds to combine.

  • Strain the lemonade mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to remove any pulp or solids.

  • Transfer the strained lemonade into a pitcher.

  • Fill serving glasses with ice cubes.

  • Pour the blueberry lemonade over the ice cubes in the glasses.

  • Serve with fresh mint.

  • Enjoy!
