These are fantastic with other food or paired with alcoholic drinks.
FOR 2 JAR
- 60g rock salt
- 500ml water
- 2 grape leaves
- 500g green plums
- 1 lemon
- 3 cloves of garlic
- Stir the salt in the water until dissolved.
- Place the grape leaves at the bottom of a glass jar.
- Slice the lemons.
- Fill the jar with green plums and put some sliced lemon and garlic in between.
- Pour the salt water over so that it covers the plums. Cap the jars and keep away from sunlight for about 3 weeks and then store in the refrigerator.
