Warranty Conditions

1. These warranty conditions apply only to the country where the product is purchased.
2. The warranty periods on the date of purchase apply. Please confirm your warranty periods at purchase. Proof of purchase is essential; otherwise, service costs may apply.
3. Only defects due to materials or manufacturing faults reported during the warranty period are covered. Damage from transport, incorrect installation, misuse, surges, or improper maintenance is excluded.
4. Within the first 6 months, the customer may request repair, replacement, or refund under the Consumer Protection Act.
5. After 6 months, Grundig will choose to repair, replace, or refund the unit at its sole discretion.
6. Microwaves, compact cookers, and small appliances must be delivered to a service center. All others are repaired on site.
7. Proof of purchase is required before any service. Larger appliances also need an installation or compliance certificate.
8. If a replacement model is no longer available, Grundig may charge the difference for a newer/higher-spec model.
9. Return products in original packaging.
10. Replacement units may not match existing appliances in color/finish.
11. Replaced parts are retained by Grundig and not returned to the customer.
12. Repairs/replacements do not extend or restart the warranty period.
13. Damage due to fire, floods, natural disasters, pests, or external events is not covered.
14. Cosmetic damage (glass, enamel, discoloration, etc.) or damage due to wear, misuse, incorrect voltage, or commercial use is excluded.
15. Using unauthorized repairers or non-original parts voids the warranty.
16. Abuse or threats towards staff void the warranty.
17. Second-hand products are not covered.
18. Disputes can be taken to CGSO or other relevant dispute bodies.
19. Reversing fridge doors or removing doors to fit through small openings is chargeable unless agreed.
20. Products older than 6 years get a 6-month warranty on out-of-warranty repairs. Newer ones get 1 year for the same fault type.
21. Out-of-warranty repairs require a service request via approved channels and include a call-out fee.
